AKC Fetch
Discover the exciting world of AKC Fetch titles, a fun activity for dog owners and their furry companions within the AKC Family Dog Program. These titles not only provide physical and mental exercise for your dog, but also teach valuable skills, especially at the advanced levels.
Designed for all breeds, AKC Fetch features a pass/fail noncompetitive test across four levels: Novice, Intermediate, Advanced, and Retriever. With each title requiring two successful passes under two different approved judges, it’s the perfect way for dogs aged six months and older to demonstrate their retrieving abilities!
DESIGNED FOR ALL BREEDS
PASS/FAIL NONCOMPETITIVE TEST
The dog must pass the test twice under two different approved AKC Fetch judges.
FOUR LEVELS OF TITLES
Novice, Intermediate, Advanced, and Retriever
Dogs must be at least 6 months old
Must have an AKC, PAL or AKC Partners registration number to participate.
AKC Fetch provides a form of exercise for dogs and their owners. Dogs learn new skills and many handlers will learn to teach a skill (i.e., retrieving) they have not previously taught.
